A superb sportive with a true Pyrénéenne atmosphere

Starting and finishing in Bagneres de Luchon, the Lapebie which celebrates the Lapebie brothers Guy and Serge who were tour stage winners and Olympic champions for France, is a fantastic showcase for the region.

With over 1000 participants each year this gruelling challenge takes in a number of the "Tour Classics" and forms part of the Trophee Label d'Or series.

Early September generally provides riders with lovely weather without the extreme heat of the summer.
