This year sees once again the a large number of pro-cycling teams taking on the challenging Pyrenees, covering a gruelling 670km in 4 days. Stage 3 (20th June) tackles a number of classic Pyrenean cols culminating in the HC category climb Port du Bales before the stage finish in the centre of Bagneres de Luchon just 50 metres from Villa Portillon.

These include Luchon's excellent tennis centre as well as a fantastic outdoor pool surrounded by well kept lawns for sunbathing.

With its stunning views of the surrounding mountains the Luchon pool also has a  separate infants pool and a snack bar.
