Enjoy the spectacle of the Tour de France, ride the classic cols and savour the amazing atmosphere

Bagneres de Luchon - A Pyrenean Gem:

With between 10 and 12 million spectators watching the Tour de France each year from over 40 countries it is no wonder that the Peak Times Le Tour Special is by far our most popular event each year.  For over 10 years our guests have enjoyed the amazing spectacle close up, usually from an enviable position on a key Col with full road side catering.

Historically significant, holding the departure for the very first mountain stage of the Tour de France in 1910, Bagneres de Luchon has hosted the Tour on a regular basis, and with over 50 stages either arriving or departing from Luchon, we can almost guarantee that the Tour is always close by. Each year we and our guests can usually experience at least one stage of the Tour, and quite often two or even three.

Our very competitively priced Tour de France Holiday packages represent great value, and our experience in hosting clients on the mountain, and riding the classic cols of the Tour for over 10 years ensures the quality of your holiday. So why not come and enjoy the Tour yourself, great accommodation, superb catering, a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and more importantly great riding.

Watching the Tour de France 2016

To celebrate our final year of providing specialised cycling holidays we are delighted to be able to include 3 fantastic Pyrenean tour stages, including a stage arrival and departure.

Stage 16: Carcassonne - Luchon (24th July)

After a rest day in Carcassonne, this 218km stage is likely to be dominated by attacks from riders unlikely to affect the overall GC. Col du Portillon as the final climb of the day along with the fast descent into Luchon will play a key part in the outcome of the day.

Stage 17: Luchon - Col de Portet (25th July)

This will be a very special stage indeed. The shortest stage (65km) of this years tour with 3 key climbs including an innaugural summit finish on the Col de Portet (2215m) is going to be spectacular and full of action.

Stage 19: Lourdes - Laruns (27th July)
This 200km final mountain stage of the 2018 tour is likely to determine who will wear yellow in Paris. A last chance for some to establish a podium finish, and where we will once again be riding to a key climb to watch the battle unfold.
