2010 marks 100 years of the Tour de France in the Pyrenees, and this year Peak Times will once again be running our Le Tour Special to celebrate this fantastic event.

Join 2010's centenary celebrations at this years tour

Epitomising the challenge of the Pyrenees, upon completing the first Pyrenean stage the eventual winner Octave Lapize yelled the now infamous words "Assassins" to the organisers of the 349km stage from Bagneres de Luchon to Bayonne.

In addition to our usual Le Tour Special there will be a number of celebratory supported rides to tackle the first half of the original stage culminating with a finish on top of the mythical and mighty Col de Tourmalet.

After Tourmalet Octave Lapize called the organisers of the 1910 tour "Assassins"

For those that are unable to watch the tour but would like to tackle a number of the classic cols of the tour we are running a number of long weekend/midweek supported rides for up to 8 guests.

Aptly named the "Assassins Challenge" this is a fun but serious ride taking in the Col de Peyresourde, Col de Aspin where we stop for lunch, recovering for final 23.4km climb from Campan and on to the mighty Col du Tourmalet.
